Tour Plan
Depart Mombasa early in the morning (around 6:00 AM) and drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway to Tsavo East National Park (approximately 3 hours). Enter the park through the Bachuma Gate and enjoy a mid-morning game drive en route to your lodge. Tsavo East is known for its vast plains, red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and an abundance of birdlife.
Arrive at your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive around the Aruba Dam and Mudanda Rock — popular watering spots for elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Overnight: Ashnil Aruba Lodge / Voi Safari Lodge (Inside Tsavo East NP, Full Board)
After an early breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive before departing for Tsavo West National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). Enter the park via the Tsavo Gate and experience a dramatic change in scenery — from open savannahs to hilly terrain and volcanic landscapes.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon visit to the stunning Mzima Springs, where underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro form clear pools inhabited by hippos, crocodiles, and fish. Continue with an evening game drive through the park, keeping an eye out for leopards, rhinos, and elephants along the Shetani Lava Flow and Chaimu Crater areas. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge / Ngulia Safari Lodge (Inside Tsavo West NP, Full Board)
Begin your final day with an early morning game drive as the park awakens, capturing the sunrise and wildlife at their most active. Return to your lodge for breakfast, then check out for your journey back to Mombasa (approximately 5–6 hours). You may stop in Voi for lunch or at scenic viewpoints along the way. Arrive in Mombasa by late afternoon for drop-off at your beach hotel or Moi International Airport.
End of Safari.
