Depart Mombasa early morning (around 6:00 AM) and drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway to Tsavo East National Park (approx. 3 hours). Enter the park via Bachuma Gate and enjoy a mid-morning game drive en route to your lodge. Tsavo East is famed for its red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and herds of buffalo.
Arrive at your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive to explore Aruba Dam and Mudanda Rock, two of the park’s wildlife hotspots. As the day winds down, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the serene African wilderness.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive while exiting Tsavo East. Drive west to Tsavo West National Park (approx. 2.5 hours), entering through the Tsavo Gate. The landscape shifts from open plains to dramatic volcanic hills, rocky ridges, and lush vegetation.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the scenic Mzima Springs, a crystal-clear oasis fed by underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro, home to hippos, crocodiles, and colorful fish. Later, enjoy an evening game drive across the park’s rolling terrain, with a chance to spot leopards, elephants, and rhinos.
Overnight: Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge / Ngulia Safari Lodge (Inside Tsavo West NP, Full Board)
After breakfast, depart Tsavo West for Amboseli National Park (approx. 3–4 hours), passing through the Chyulu Hills and enjoying spectacular scenery along the way. Arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch and check in at your lodge, located inside or adjacent to the park.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive beneath the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants and excellent photographic opportunities. You’ll also spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge / Sentrim Amboseli Lodge (Inside Amboseli NP, Full Board)
Begin your day with an early morning game drive to witness the sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro and catch animals as they roam the plains. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and depart for the drive back to Mombasa (approx. 7–8 hours) with a packed or en-route lunch. Enjoy scenic views along the highway, arriving in Mombasa by late afternoon for drop-off at your beach hotel or Moi International Airport.
